A Bear and Bison Inn Wedding (Canmore)

Christiane and Krys were smiling ear-to-ear all day!
Christiane and Krys met in the most poetic way- literally. With Krys living in Canada and Christiane in New York City, the stars aligned when they met online in a poetry community and quickly bonded. Which could 1000% be the plot of a romcom, right?! These two had their micro-wedding at Bear and Bison Country Inn, Canmore.

After getting ready, we headed down to Quarry Lake for some couple’s portraits before the ceremony:
Quarry Lake offers such a wide variety of scenery- from sprawling views of Canmore’s most famous peaks and Ha Ling mountain towering overhead, to this lovely corridor of trees:
Always a fan of a good ol’ “Tiny people, big landscape” photo!
We strolled around the lake for photos and soaked up the views:
The ceremony was held in the outdoor gazebo:
For as many smiles as there were that day (and trust me, there were MANY) there was an equal amount of tears, embraces, and emotional moments since it was obvious that their love for each other couldn’t be contained:
My favourite first kisses are the ones where you can tell that they’re grinning ear to ear during it:
SERIOUSLY- how contagious are their smiles?! These two are the best kind of humans, it’s not often that you find people with hearts as big as they have:
After the ceremony, we jumped into some family photos and began the celebration:

We used the open space as a dancefloor once the dinner tables were cleared up. Again- so much laughing and so much crying (as a wedding should be!)

As always, Bear and Bison inn was a fantastic choice for these two to tie the knot. Surrounded with love and mountains, it could not have been a more perfect day.
