What do I do beyond just showing up with my camera and clicking a button?

Your day is NOT a photoshoot. Although you’ll get beautiful images, there are a million-and-one moments that unfold over a wedding day as you experience a huge range of emotions. Sentimental moments + small details, emotional exchanges with your closest loved ones, romantic moments between you and your partner, blackmail level party photos of your friends, laugh-out-loud as well as sob-your-eyeballs-out moments… A wedding day has it all! And it flies by at lightspeed- with an extensive gallery of the day we retell the story so you can re-live and remember it. Here’s how I help to cover your wedding story:

1. Helping you EVERY step of the way! This ain’t my first wedding rodeo. So much of having a day go smoothly happens before the day. We have check in calls leading up to the day to discuss the timeline, shot list, and photo location ideas (I gotchu- I have a locations list for any venue!). Open door policy with any questions- let me help answer ANY questions aside from the meaning of life- I’m still figuring that one out. Also don’t ask me math related questions, that’s not my strong suit.

2. Advocating for you and encouraging you to customize your day and include things that you LOVE. Tradition aside, anything you love can be incorporated into your day. I open the door to discussions about what would make your day more fun, meaningful, and intentional so we can try to incorporate them into your day.

3. Clear communication leading up to the day, direction during the day, and helping to keep the day on track.

4.“We don’t know what to do in photos, we’re awkward”- Said EVERYONE ever. Look through my portfolio- the majority of those couples expressed the same concern. Trust me, I’m a pro at making you comfortable in front of the camera.

5. I take incredible pride in my art and the extent of care, preparation, and commitment to customizing how I cover your day. This amount of pride also carries over to my editing process. Every image is carefully hand-edited by myself and tweaked to put the cherry on top of every photo. Although images maintain a more ‘true to life’ colour scheme to remain timeless, endless effort is put into making each image as magical as possible to give it that fairytale flair.

6. Um, you get fricken’ awesome photos. Boom.

7. I will physically pick up and throw any crashers out the door (or wedding guests you don’t like.)
