Firm believer that you can get luxury images without having an uptight and overly-formal experience with your photographer. My brand is the lovechild of “luxury” and “fun”. I’m the photographer for couples who hate rigid old-school posing and don’t know what to do in front of a camera.

Your gallery will be larger than life, full of spirit, jam-packed with smiles, and shine a light on your love. From inexplicable/hilarious candids, subtle moments of emotion, to dramatic + surreal portraits in the mountains, there’s a million facets to the story of your day that I want to tell with my images.

My main mission is to make sure that you’re having fun and enjoying your day. If you aren’t laughing your ass off- I’m not doing my job. (Actually just a standup comedian who picked up a camera instead of a microphone and just rolled with it…)
Who I fit with best:
Fun-loving folks who may not fit in the box that is ‘traditional.’ People who proudly wear their weirdness on their sleeve, who DON’T want dull traditional posing because they also think that they give off a ‘mugshot’ vibe. I take a 50% photojournalistic approach to catch all of the quiet quirks & candid moments that pass by quickly without interrupting the moment but take control and provide directions + prompting when needed because NO ONE actually knows what to do in photos- I gotchu. I have tricks up my sleeve that let you two and any guests be themselves and have a blast because that translates to the photos.
How I cover your day:
Photography style that doesn’t fit in a box or stick to the norm- because people shouldn’t either. Each gallery is curated & customized to be the perfect reflection of your special type of weird. I focus on catching candid moments but offer gentle guidance, posing, & prompts when needed. I’ve been known to orchestrate candid moments & to nudge guests into REALLY hamming it up for the camera. I balance this with surreal, dramatic, and artistic photos so you can get the best of both worlds.

Despite all of the elopement propaganda on my website, I THRIVE at covering large scale weddings as well! High energy receptions, candid moments with your extended family, and all of the wedding traditions will always have a special place in my heart. I’m as comfortable using multiple off-camera flash lighting set ups at dark receptions with 150 people dancing as I am on top of a mountain. I will forever offer both elopements + weddings as they are incredible in their own ways.
