Weddings/Pricing

I believe in pricing transparency, which I why I openly state my package costs. If you’ve been cruising through vendor websites and can’t seem to get a straight answer and feel frustrated… I feel you! Honesty and openness is a good thing. Below are my three main wedding package options.

All packages include indefinite free archival/backups of edited images (in case your files are ever lost!)

I take incredible pride in what I do and the extent of care, preparation, and commitment to customizing how I cover your day. This amount of pride also carries over to my editing process. Every image is carefully hand-edited by myself and tweaked to put the cherry on top of every photo. Although images maintain a more ‘true to life’ colour scheme to remain timeless, endless effort is put into making each image as magical as possible to give it that fairytale flair.

Three Package Options:

  • Partial Day

-2 hours of wedding photography coverage (usually ceremony, a small number of family portraits, and a brief solo session with the newlyweds.)

-Engagement session available to add on

*Note- this option may not be offered for peak season dates due to high demand (summer/fall Saturdays)

How I do things:

I take a more candid and photojournalistic approach with my photography, capturing the moments as they happen. Especially during receptions, I go full photojournalistic mode to catch those sneaky fleeting candid moments as guests full-force show their personalities and quirks. However… I’ve been known to nudge people into hamming it up for the camera, which I refer to as ‘orchestrating candids.” Some may call it peer pressure, but I prefer that phrasing.

And of course, more “posed” formal photos have their place as well! With family photos you do want a few token “hand above the fireplace” shots. However, I like to work more with providing you prompts, or fun little scenarios/actions to act out with your partner. This means that everything feels (and looks) a lot more natural, and guarantees that even the most camera shy (or camera hating!) person is comfortable and creates some beautiful images.

Without exception, every couple that I’ve worked with is concerned on some level because they aren’t models, or they’re nervous that they don’t know what to do for photos. You 100% do not need to be a top model to get great shots! If you know how to do simple things like hug your partner, walk while holding hands, and to let yourself be a little silly, you’ve got it in the bag. And trust me, no one ever knows what to do with their hands in photos. I’ll make sure that you aren’t doing the awkward claw pose!

Most importantly, I want the experience of having your photos taken to ADD to the fun of the day as opposed to having you stand still and smile. Real smiles, laughs, and tears will always win over an image that was entirely posed.
